The Ranch at Anna's House -
The Ranch project is the first order of business for the Anna's House Foundation. We are working closely with DHS at the state level to design a state of the art "Foster Care Community" in Oklahoma County. We will develop a property that will set the standard for foster care in our state. The Ranch will be home to several individual family homes that will be available for Christian foster families to live at a minimal cost to enable them to have large families without financial concerns. These families will be DHS certified foster homes and will be held to the very highest standards to ensure the best possible care both short and long term.
The property will be home to the Anna's House Foundation director's home, 6-8 individual foster homes, a stables and a small conference center. We will strive to provide support for families, staff and volunteers in a Christ-centered environment. AHF will work with DHS to offer the necessary training to foster families, as well as provide a safe, loving environment for family and sibling visitation, etc. This is a unique project in our state, but not a new idea! Communities similar to this one are thriving in many other states. As we continue to develop this project and begin construction, we will update the site with photos, etc.
