Anna's House teams up with Edmond Santa Fe for Double Wolf Dare Week!

Each year, Double Wolf Dare Week at Edmond Santa Fe High School encourages students and teachers to raise funds for local nonprofits. We are incredibly blessed to announce Anna’s House Foundation is this year’s recipient of DWDW!!

Double Wolf Dare Week began in 1996, when the Santa Fe student body came together to save the life of a future Wolf, Hailey Cobble. Recipients have been both individuals and 501(c) non-profit organizations like Anna’s House. To date, Double Wolf Dare Week has benefited 23 unique and deserving recipients, all entirely student-driven and organized endeavors. As of DWDW 2018, more than $3,000,000 has been raised.?

Santa Fe High School has set a goal of raising $150,000 to fund a portion of the new Community Recreational Center will serve as a resource center for our Anna’s House Foster Care Community. The Community Center will include a gym, large kitchen, and space for therapy, counseling, support groups, and training.  In order to reach this goal, Santa Fe has multiple fundraising events throughout the school year leading up to the final assembly, usually featuring crazy dares such as the shaving of heads, swallowing goldfish, and licking peanut butter off of gymnasiums floors — all done to raise last-minute funds.

We encourage all of our donors and volunteers to participate in assemblies, night events, sports tournaments, the silent auction and food nights to help raise even more money towards the fundraising goal.
