This Foster Family Took 10 Kids to Disneyland!

Do you have a cherished childhood memory of a family vacation that still brings a smile to your face?

The Easteps, a foster family with Anna’s House Foundation, took a trip of a lifetime to California with TEN kids this past month!  They packed up the van and drove 17 hours to arrive at their California adventure! Mrs. Eastep said “the kids did great in the car; we drove through 5 different states which was a first for all the kids”.

For two weeks, they created memories that will last a lifetime.  They went to Disneyland and California Adventure together (don’t worry, they had help from family to keep the 10 kids together!).  They spent time at the beach and made their way to the mountains to hike.  They went to a family farm and picked fruit together. And they went to a drive-in movie theater to watch Kung Fu Panda 4 which Mrs. Eastep said the kids thought it was “the greatest thing in the world”.

The best part? All of these adventures were a first for the children.  First time in California, first time to Disneyland, first time at a drive-in movie theater. Thanks to our First Fruits Monthly Donors, Anna’s House Foundation was able to bless the Eastep family by providing gas money to offset the cost, and AHF staff cleaned their home and put in new furniture while they were gone.  With the contributions from monthly donors, Anna’s House can support foster families in a multitude of ways!
