The Anna's House Foundation staff works to help provide the necessary CE (Continuing Education) training (minimum of 12 hours per year) required by OKDHS and is provided to all of our foster families.  Dates will be posted closer to the time of events and information will be distributed to Anna's House Foundation families. Support Groups

AHF families receive support from staff including home visits, telephone conferences and court appearances as needed. Anna's house also provides a support group, which meets the third Tuesday of every month. The journey can be difficult for families caring for children who have suffered the trauma of abuse neglect and/or abandonment and this time allows families to come together and lift each other up in prayer and emotional support. This type of support enables children to remain in placements (families) and reduce the number of moves a child in foster care can often endure.

Resource Room on Wheels

Not only does Anna's House Foundation have an onsite Resource Room filled with necessities and aimed at helping meet the needs of our foster children, but Anna's House Foundation also selects families on a weekly basis to bless a family with a meal or with needed items from the Resource Room like diapers, wipes, clothes, coats, school supplies, toiletries and more.

Parent's Night Out

At Anna's House Foundation, we recognize foster families sacrifice a lot to ensure safety, love and hope to foster children. To give back, we offer occassional Parent's Night Out where parents receive free child care while the foster parents are able to take a night out.

Spiritual Support

As a Christian foster care agency, Anna's House Foundation recognizes the calling God places on our heart to serve vulnerable children. We have a primary focus of recruiting Christian foster homes and recognize the importance of prayer, grace, love, and reflection for our foster families.

Foster Family Events

Anna's House Foundation wants to make sure the needs of foster families are met with tangible items but also a sense of community. As such, Anna's House hosts three main events each year: Easter, End-of-Summer Bash where we fill all the back-to-school necessities for school-aged children, and a Christmas Party. Additionally, we provide a Thanksgiving basket for each foster family in November and fulfill Christmas wishlists for each child in the month of December.
